Which Peace & Quiet package fits which Arctic season
Priser och uppgifter kontrollerade .
Peace & Quiet Nature Hotel sits on the Lule River at Jokkmokk, inside the Arctic Circle, and sells its stays as seventeen packages rather than as room nights. The packages are built around the Sámi eight seasons, so choosing one is mostly a question of when you can travel and what the light is doing that month.

1793 EUR per personThe accommodation is the same; the season is not
Every package puts you in the same two room types — a floating glass room on the water or the mountain glass cabin — so the difference between them is the season, the length, and which experiences are bundled in. That is why there is no single "best" package here: the aurora ones and the midnight-sun ones cannot both be right for the same week.
Prices are quoted per person for the bundles and per night for the open-ended Stay and Dine option, which starts at 845 EUR per night with half board, and runs from a two-night escape up to a multi-week expedition.
Winter: aurora, sled dogs and the Jokkmokk market
The winter packages are the aurora packages. The Northern Lights Special Bundle is the short version — two nights from 1,098 EUR per person, with snowshoeing and outdoor dinners. The four-night Northern Lights Wonder Bundle adds reindeer and dog sledding and Sámi cultural experiences, at 2,748 EUR per person. Paws & Whispers is the husky-led two-night variant.
Two winter packages are less about the sky. The three-night Winter Market Bundle is timed to Jokkmokk's winter market, at 6,997 EUR for the stay, and Arctic Ice Mastery is a dedicated elite ice-fishing package at 2,734 EUR per person on frozen lakes and zones arranged for the method you fish.
Spring: watching the ice break
Spring Joy is a two-night package built around a single event — the ice cracking up around your floating glass room as the winter landscape turns back into green forest and blue water. It is the shortest window of the year and the only package sold on it.
Summer: light that does not stop
Two packages use the midnight sun directly: the two-night Midnight Sun Escape, spent on the water in the golden light, and the two-night, three-day hiking package that pairs Arctic walking with the same permanent daylight.
Summer is also the fishing season. The Intimate Fly / General Fishing Experience runs two days from 1,238 EUR per person, with fly fishing featured but spinning and bait arranged on request.
Autumn: foraging season
Autumn Colors is a two-night package from 2,088 EUR per person, set in the foraging season when the forest turns; it includes berry and local-herb picking. Lapland's Berry Symphony is the two-night, three-day version built more heavily around berries and traditional use of them. Reconnect Under the Arctic Sky is the autumn escape sold at 30% off, sitting between the foraging season and the first aurora nights.
Couples, teams and the long expedition
Three packages are defined by who is coming rather than by the season. The Romantic Wilderness Bundle is two nights for couples from 1,398 EUR per person; the Romantic Lovebird Bundle is the longer, four-night version at 4,398 EUR per person. The Exclusive Business Retreat is a three-night leadership retreat led by Björn and Rā, from 1,793 EUR per person.
At the top of the range, The Ultimate Swedish Lapland Expedition is a boat expedition into the inner core of Swedish Lapland at 19,567 EUR per stay, sold on a non-refundable reservation.
Vanliga frågor
- When can I see the northern lights from the hotel?
- The aurora packages are the winter ones — the Northern Lights Special and Wonder bundles, Paws & Whispers, and the discounted autumn Reconnect escape, which sits at the start of the dark season. No package promises a sighting; they buy you dark-sky nights inside the Arctic Circle and the guides to use them.
- What is a floating glass room?
- An off-grid glass room on the water of the Lule River. The hotel's other option is the mountain glass cabin. Both are used across the packages, so the room type is a choice you make on top of the season.
- Is food included?
- Stay and Dine is explicitly half board, from 845 EUR per night. Several of the bundles include outdoor or Wild Nature dining as part of the programme. Check the individual package for exactly which meals it covers.
- What is the shortest stay available?
- Two nights. That covers Spring Joy, Midnight Sun Escape, Autumn Colors, Berry Symphony, Paws & Whispers, the Northern Lights Special and the Romantic Wilderness bundle.
- Which package is best for a first visit?
- If you are coming for the aurora, the two-night Northern Lights Special is the least expensive way in at 1,098 EUR per person. If your dates are in summer, Midnight Sun Escape is its equivalent. Stay and Dine is the option when you would rather set your own programme.
- Where exactly is the hotel?
- Klockarvägen 25, Jokkmokk, in Swedish Lapland, on the Lule River. It runs year-round, and the eight-season framing comes from Sámi tradition rather than a four-season calendar.
