Gamla stadens park
Gamla stadens park refers to Slottsparken, a historic park in Malmö characterized by large ponds and forested areas. It was designed by Edvard Glæsel between 1897 and 1900 and formerly served as a training ground for Malmö’s Hussar Regiment. The park is located west of Gamla Stan (Old Town), just a short walk from Malmö’s main attractions and near Malmohus Castle. It is open 24 hours a day year-round with free entry, making it ideal for summer picnics and free cultural events. Notable features include several sculptures and proximity to the city library, adding to its appeal as one of Malmö’s most popular parks.
