Raoul Wallenbergs Park

Raoul Wallenbergs Park is a small public park and garden situated between Lilla Nygatan and the canal in Gamla Staden (Old Town), Malmö, near the edge of Gustav Adolfs torg. The park was established to honor the memory of Raoul Wallenberg, the Swedish diplomat who saved thousands of Jews during World War II, and features a sculpture in the background symbolizing the "flame of hope" he ignited. Visitors can relax by the rippling pond and admire the nearby Göta statue, a prominent landmark in the area. The park covers about 2.2 acres and is open daily from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM, making it accessible at any time for walking or quiet reflection. It is especially pleasant in spring when the bloodbeech tree ("blodbok") is in full bloom, adding seasonal color to the green space.
