3 Arena

3Arena is a retractable-roof multi-purpose stadium at Arenaslingan 14 in Stockholm Globe City, Johanneshov, beside Avicii Arena and near Globen metro station. Designed by White Arkitekter with Arup and ROSSETTI, construction began in September 2010 and the arena officially opened on 24 August 2013 with concerts by Robyn, Lars Winnerbäck and Kent attended by 39,714 people. It was known as Tele2 Arena from 2013 until 2024 and adopted the name 3Arena on 1 January 2025. The venue hosts Hammarby IF and Djurgårdens IF football matches, major concerts and other events, with a sliding roof, about 30,000 seats for sport and capacity approaching 45,000 for selected concerts. There are no standard daily opening hours; access depends on the event, so check the specific organiser’s schedule and arrive early for football matches or sold-out concerts.
