Åre Kabinbana

Åre Kabinbana is one of Åre’s most famous attractions. Opened in 1976, it takes visitors from the village to the top of Mount Åreskutan in about seven minutes. The ride offers breathtaking views of the mountains and lake, and from the upper station, you can hike to the summit. The cable car operates year-round and is popular among both hikers and skiers.
