Gamla Affären

In the village Västerå in Timrå Municipality, next to the old school, lies our restaurant which was the village shop from 1950 to 1965. Thereafter it was severely dilapidated but has now been given new life. After an extensive renovation we opened in December 2018. Our small country restaurant is inspired by Italian cuisine and we work with local produce as far as possible. What we are most proud of is probably our Italian wines. We have been wine importers for many years and have a solid wine list and are happy to talk wine with you so the whole experience becomes unique. We have a sommelier in the house, Susanne, who conducts wine tastings and we have developed a model that allows you to always have a wine tasting at your table in a small group. Our newest addition is two double rooms in a small guesthouse on the farm that can be booked in connection with a visit to us.
