Chokladfabriken

Chokladfabriken is a chocolatier and pâtisserie at Dalagatan 9L in Vasastan, Stockholm, selling handmade pralines, chocolate bars, cakes, pastries, ice cream and chocolate-coated sweets. Martin and Ellinor Isaksson founded the business in 1997, and Martin Isaksson remains its head pastry chef; he has represented both Sweden’s chef and pastry-chef teams. The company originally produced its confections at Renstiernas gata 12, where pralines, wedding cakes and other pastries were made from 1997 onward, while the Dalagatan shop now serves as a convenient north-central Stockholm retail location. Its selection includes French chocolate caramels, cognac truffles, passion-fruit truffles, liquorice almonds and raspberry puffs, with gift boxes available in several sizes. The shop is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 to 18:00 and Saturday from 12:00 to 17:00; it is closed Sundays, and calling ahead is sensible for custom cakes or larger orders.
