COW Parfymeri is a niche beauty retailer specializing in perfume, makeup, skincare, and selected hair products at Norrlandsgatan 18 in Stockholm’s Bibliotekstan district. Christian and Wenche Hughes founded the company in 1999 after Wenche, a freelance makeup artist working in London and New York, found that many of her preferred products were unavailable in Sweden; the first shop opened on Mäster Samuelsgatan in February that year. The current store brings together international brands including Westman Atelier, La Bouche Rouge, Byredo, Augustinus Bader, and Frédéric Malle, with experienced makeup artists available for product guidance. A distinctive service is La Bouche Rouge’s engraved lipstick cases, while the carefully chosen niche range includes several Sweden-exclusive brands. It is open Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 18:00 and Saturday from 11:00 to 16:00; the shop is closed on Sunday.
