Millesgården Lanthandel

Millesgården Lanthandel is a combined café, lunch restaurant, deli and licensed bar at Herserudsvägen 28, beside the terraces of the Millesgården sculpture park on Lidingö. The surrounding estate was created from 1906 by sculptor Carl Milles and artist Olga Milles, who built their home and studios there; Millesgården opened to the public in the late 1930s. The restaurant is run by chefs John Modig, Anders Elfving and Johan Oster, serving lunch, coffee, homemade pastries, locally produced food and organic products. Its outdoor tables overlook the sculpture park, while the heated orangery provides indoor seating in winter, and the separate street entrance means café guests do not need museum admission. It is generally open Tuesday–Sunday from 11:00 to 17:00, with lunch served Tuesday–Friday until 15:00 and weekends until 16:00; the terrace and restaurant can be reserved for private events.
