The Stockholm-based fashion house traces its origins to 1903, when Marcus Schwarzman and Hjalmar Nordström founded the company in Uddevalla as Schwarzman & Nordström. Its defining legacy is ready-to-wear tailoring: the popular “Tiger” suit range introduced in the early 1920s eventually gave the company its present name, while the store now sells men’s and women’s clothing, footwear, and accessories. The boutique is particularly relevant for sharply cut Scandinavian tailoring and the brand’s long connection with Swedish garment production, including its distinction as one of the country’s early ready-to-wear suit makers.
