Restaurant Ekstedt

Restaurant Ekstedt is a Michelin-starred Nordic restaurant at Humlegårdsgatan 17 in Stockholm’s Östermalm district, near Humlegården park and Stureplan. Founded by chef Niklas Ekstedt in 2013, it cooks every dish over wood fire, using grills, hearths, ovens and hot iron rather than conventional gas or electric cooking. The menu focuses on contemporary Swedish ingredients, with a set menu priced at 2,900 SEK and optional wine, juice or mixed pairings. Dinner service runs Tuesday through Thursday from 17:30, Friday from 17:00 and Saturday from 15:30 until 01:00; the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday. Reservations are advisable, especially for the limited Saturday service, and groups of six or more should contact the restaurant directly.
