Voodoo Room

Voodoo Room is a restaurant in Stockholm serving New Orleans-inspired Creole cuisine with strong Voodoo influences, featuring dishes like jambalaya, baked oysters, and Cajun grilled tuna steak. It opened in spring 2023 and was founded by local restaurateurs who wanted to recreate the atmosphere of a Louisiana Voodoo house. The restaurant is located at Folkungagatan 84 in the heart of SoFo, just inside SoFo’s borders and a stone’s throw from Medborgarplatsen metro station. What makes it special is its maximalist, kitsch decor bathed in red lighting, live music events, and a Saturday buffet brunch for SEK 199 where you can eat as much as you want. It’s open Tuesday to Thursday from 17–23, Friday from 16–23, and Saturday from 12–23, but closed Sunday and Monday, so book a table early if you want to join their quiz nights or live performances.
