Hermès

Hermès is a luxury fashion and leather-goods boutique on the ground floor of Nordiska Kompaniet, the heritage-listed Art Nouveau department store at Hamngatan 18–20, 111 47 Stockholm, near Kungsträdgården and the luxury shops of Biblioteksgatan. The Stockholm store opened on 9 October 2020 and is Sweden’s only Hermès boutique, occupying 216 square metres behind a glass façade framed with geometric copper detailing. Hermès was founded in Paris by Thierry Hermès in 1837 as a maker of saddles and equestrian equipment; the Stockholm selection includes handbags, silk scarves, shoes, clothing, accessories, tableware, and home objects. It is especially notable for presenting the brand’s full range inside NK rather than as a standalone street shop, with current leadership belonging to sixth-generation family member Axel Dumas.
