Harstena

Harstena is one of the most popular islands in the Östergötland archipelago. The island is known for its beautiful archipelago environment and for the seal hunting that took place here in the past. There are many things to do on the island; besides swimming and fishing, you can visit the small museum that shows what life in the archipelago was like before modern times. There is also a smokehouse where you can buy smoked fish freshly caught around the point. The island’s bakery is located in the village and offers freshly baked rolls and buns throughout the summer.
