Hermans

Hermans is a fully vegan buffet restaurant at Fjällgatan 23B on Södermalm, positioned along the cliffside street known as “Stockholm’s balcony,” with views across the harbor and central Stockholm. Herman Ottosson founded the first Hermans restaurant in 1992 after returning from Mexico, where he had conceived the idea of introducing more international vegetarian food to Stockholm. The restaurant’s buffet combines hot and cold plant-based dishes inspired by cuisines from around the world, with organic coffee and tea included. In 2006, Ottosson handed the business to Leo and Omer, who continued developing its vegan concept. It generally opens from 11:00 to 22:00 on weekdays and Sundays, with the buffet closing one hour before the restaurant; arrive near opening or reserve ahead for weekend seating by the windows and outdoor garden.
