Storholmen

Storholmen is located in the inlet to Sundsvall, more specifically Storholmen is located outside Spikarna, Alnö. Storholmen is a stunningly beautiful island with fine nature and exciting history. The island has a nice guest harbor for boats and several nice cottages. In addition, there are 3 military cannons on the island as well as a large rock room. Today Storholmen is managed by a family interested in boating, the Hjertman family. We want everyone to feel welcome to Storholmen. Sara and Oskar Hjertman run Storholmen Svl AB, which organizes activities and events on the island. We organize guided tours around the cannons on the island and in the rock room together with our rock room guides and we organize lectures on the history of Storholmen. There are several cottages on the island that can be rented for group and corporate events. We can arrange boat trips to Storholmen or you can get there with your own boat, jet ski, kayak / canoe and dock in the nice guest harbor. Our big annual event is Storholmen Day, which is organized every year during the summer.
