Ruths

Ruths is a bustling all-day café, restaurant, bakery, and deli serving modern European and Mediterranean cuisine in Malmö’s Gamla Staden (Old Town). It opened in spring 2021 and was founded by Elliot Rozenberg, who created the space to blend breakfast, lunch, fika, and dinner under one roof. The establishment sits at Mäster Johansgatan 11, right next to MJ’s and surrounded by other eateries in the historic district. Ruths earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand award for offering high-quality three-course meals under about $45, and its open kitchen and wine-on-tap service make it a local favorite. Breakfast runs daily from 7:00–10:30, lunch from 12:00–14:30, and dinner from 17:00–21:00 (Mon–Thu) or 17:00–22:00 (Fri–Sat), with Sunday evenings closed.
