Lisa Elmqvist

Lisa Elmqvist is a seafood restaurant and fish counter inside Östermalms Saluhall at Nybrogatan 31, near Östermalmstorg in central Stockholm. The business began with Lisa Elmqvist, born in 1894 on Muskö, who opened her own fish stall at Munkbron in 1910; the family has operated in Östermalms Saluhall since 1926 and is now in its fourth generation. Its seven-metre fish counter carries around 450 species, while the restaurant serves Swedish and Nordic seafood, including fish, shellfish, and seasonal dishes, and is recommended by Michelin. The restaurant is open Monday 11:00–19:00, Tuesday–Thursday 11:00–22:00, Friday 11:00–23:00, and Saturday 11:30–23:00, closing Sundays; Saturday daytime seating is generally drop-in, while reservations are advisable for evenings.
