Skyview

SkyView is a sightseeing attraction, not a museum or monument: two glass gondolas run on tracks up the outside of Avicii Arena, the spherical arena in Johanneshov. The attraction opened in 2010, after the arena was reinforced with steel rails, and it gives a view from about 85 metres above the ground, or 130 metres above sea level at the top. It is located at Arenatorget 2, beside the arena in Stockholm Globe City, with the arena itself originally known as the Stockholm Globe Arena and later Ericsson Globe before taking the Avicii Arena name. The ride was designed for up to 12 people per gondola and includes an audio guide by QR code in Swedish, English, German, Spanish, and French. Opening hours are usually Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00 and Saturday to Sunday from 10:00 to 16:00, and it is smarter to book ahead since tickets are sold online and the queues can be long.
