ARKET at Drottninggatan 53 is a Nordic design and lifestyle store selling clothing for women, men and children, homeware, everyday objects, and food through its seasonal vegetarian café. The brand launched in 2017, and this was its first Swedish shop, opening on 1 June 2018 as ARKET’s ninth store worldwide. Its concept draws on Swedish art historian Gregor Paulsson’s 1919 idea of “more beautiful everyday goods,” while the café serves vegetarian dishes and coffee from Johan & Nyström, the Swedish roaster founded in 2004; the café menus are developed by head chef Martin Berg. The shop stands on central Stockholm’s pedestrianised Drottninggatan, close to Hötorget, Sergels torg, and T-Centralen, making it convenient during a city-centre shopping walk. Current listed hours are Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00, Saturday 10:00–19:00, and Sunday 11:00–18:00; the café generally opens earlier on weekdays, from 08:00.
