Welcome to a moment of silence and the joy of reading. The Silent Reading Circle is an open meet-up for anyone who wants to share a room with other readers, but without the pressure to perform or discuss.We start at 4:30 pm with a gentle warm-up. There's time for the occasional chat, coffee, cake and the chance to borrow a book if you haven't brought one of your own. Around 5:00 pm we move into the shared reading time until 5:45 pm.After the reading there's space to talk about what you've read for those who want to, but it's entirely optional. Simply enjoying the silence is just as worthwhile. You're also warmly welcome to come straight to the reading at 5:00 pm.The evening's schedule:4:30 pm – 5:00 pm: Arrival, coffee, fika and the chance to borrow a book.5:00 pm – 5:45 pm: Shared silent reading.5:45 pm – 6:00 pm: Optional conversation about what you've read.Everyone is welcome!It's free and no registration is needed.
