Sápmi Ren och Vilt AB

Sápmi Ren och Vilt is a family-run shop and charcuterie at Hantverkargatan 71 in Jokkmokk, operating as a limited company since 2009. It is run by Per-Oddvar Hansen and Rickard and Helena Länta, who grew up in reindeer herding and process meat from their own and related herds in the area. The range includes dried, frozen and smoked reindeer meat, elk, Arctic char, berry and herb products, and reindeer hides and Sámi handicrafts, alongside raw ingredients and delicacies made from local game. A special part of the business is its tourism offer, where visitors can meet a small reindeer herd and learn about Sámi culture and reindeer husbandry. The shop is normally open Monday–Friday 9:00–17:00 and closed at weekends; call ahead if you are looking for a particular product or want to pre-order.
