Bhoga

Bhoga is a Nordic fine-dining restaurant at Norra Hamngatan 10 in central Gothenburg, near the city’s canals, although the postcode is 411 14 rather than 411 18. Gustav Knutsson and Niclas Yngvesson opened it in 2012 after working together at Thörnströms, and Bhoga received its first Michelin star in 2014. The kitchen builds changing menus around seasonal ingredients from nearby farms and producers, with dinner menus of five, seven, or nine courses and dishes that may include lamb, cabbage, fish, or vegetarian preparations. After a 20-month closure connected to city groundworks, the restaurant reopened in August 2025 following an extensive renovation. Dinner is currently served Tuesday through Saturday from 17:00 to 23:00, with lunch on Thursdays and Fridays; reservations are recommended, and same-day online bookings are accepted until 14:00.
