The Vasa Walk

A free interactive audio walk that takes you to the actual places where the famous Vasa ship’s short history unfolded. The walk starts outside the Vasa Museum, continues through the Djurgården area and ends on the Beckholmen island. Hear about Vasa’s sinking in 1628, the salvage in 1961, and the work to preserve & display the ship. Sound, music & visual elements bring the places to life.
