Trall – Swedish Traditional Singing

Ulrika and Anders were named Sweden’s first riksspelmän in trall (trad. mouth music/diddling) This evening is all about trall made for dancers. Ulrika and Anders sing with the body in mind: melodies drawn from archive collections, tunes that have lived in the mouths of trallare and are now given new life in Stallet's intimate hall. The dance is not an addition; it is part of what the music asks for. The evening kicks off with a workshop led by Leonora Danzi.
