Paradox Museum

Paradox Museum Stockholm is an experience-based museum with more than 70 interactive installations built around optical illusions, perspective tricks, and paradoxes. It opened in Stockholm in 2023 as part of the Paradox Museum brand, which was created by a group of founders behind the concept rather than a single artist or architect, and the Stockholm branch is operated as a visitor attraction rather than a traditional art museum. It is located at Sergelgatan 20, with entrances from Sergelgatan and Sveavägen 17, just by Hötorget and a short walk from T-Centralen in central Stockholm. What makes it distinctive is the hands-on setup: visitors move through rooms with revolving walls, illusion-based photo setups, and installations designed to make people appear larger, smaller, or physically impossible in relation to the space. The museum says the experience usually takes about 80 minutes, and its last admission is 60 minutes before closing. It is open Monday to Thursday and Sunday from 10:00 to 19:00, and Friday to Saturday from 10:00 to 21:00. Tickets are sold online, and visiting earlier in the day or on weekdays is usually the easiest way to avoid crowds.
